PREMISES WARDEN
Based: Winchester Road, London E4 9JP
Hours: 25 Hours per week.
Salary: £8.30 per hour.

WRMC seeks a Premises Warden for its busy venue that includes the Church, 2 large halls and more than 6 other meeting rooms.

Approximately seven hundred people come through the premises each week for activities ranging from dance and sport clubs to scouts and guides and a monthly Care Higham’s Park lunch club for the elderly.

You will be responsible for the day to day supervision, cleaning and maintenance of the premises and grounds.  You will assist in the nurture, security and development of our work in the community through contact with the groups who use the venue.  You will manage the cleaner and the voluntary Saturday caretakers.  You will schedule the bookings and administer payments.  The work does involve some manual labour including cleaning & setting up the rooms, changing light fittings and mowing the grass.

The Church is likely to commence a re-development project to improve access and facilities, so this is an exciting time to take on this interesting and varied role.
