Winchester Road is delighted to conduct Baptisms and Weddings. The Minister is available to discuss either of these ceremonies.
The Methodist Church does allow the remarriage of divorced people and encourages the Baptism of infants, babies and small children.

• We aim to do this through greater co-operation with other churches
  e.g. following up the proposals outlined in 'Churches Together in Highams Park'.
• Share in Love, so that we learn to work more closely together
  e.g. through more social activities.

• New Church membership classes.
• Worship should be inclusive of all ethnic origins, all ages and both genders.
• Expand our youth work by encouraging more youth leaders to participate in after-church activities including those that will appeal to both boys and girls.
• Establish demand for Alpha courses and if the requirement exists, to make a start.

• Through the monthly newsletter, provide interest to the young people and those on the periphery of the church, while retaining the core message to the membership.
• Maintaining our witness within the community and those who use our premises throughout the week and on Saturdays.
• Support the Vision 2000 project with the aim of making the church building welcoming and accessible to everyone.

• Continue and where possible expand our voluntary services though Care Highams Park.
